Agent calls for respect for African players

The agent of footballers Ismaila Sarr and Lamine Camara has issued a strong statement calling for greater respect for African players in the transfer market after both clients saw deadline-day moves collapse. Diomansy Kamara, a former Senegal international, expressed frustration that players' ambitions and voices are often sidelined in negotiations, describing a system where African players can feel treated as mere commodities. Sarr, a forward for Crystal Palace, was reportedly a target for Liverpool, who were seeking to strengthen their attacking options. Liverpool is said to have made offers, including one reportedly around £50 million, but Crystal Palace refused to sell the 28-year-old, setting his price tag above that figure. Sarr was reportedly eager to make the move to Anfield and had informed Crystal Palace of his desire to leave. He had also deleted club-related content from his social media. Other clubs, including Manchester United and Galatasaray, had also shown interest, but their offers did not advance or fell short of Palace's valuation.
