The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced on Wednesday that it will present honorary Oscars to actor Glenn Close, director Ridley Scott, and animator Floyd Norman at its 17th Governors Awards this November. Producers Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler will receive the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award.
