70th BFI London Film Festival 2026 Unveils Full Programme
The 70th BFI London Film Festival has unveiled its full programme, announcing a lineup of 169 feature films from 88 countries, with nine world premieres. The festival will run for 11 days from October 7 to October 18, 2026, across London's iconic cinemas, including the BFI Southbank. Tickets for BFI Members go on sale on September 10, with general ticket sales beginning on September 17. The programme features a star-studded array of films, including several high-profile world premieres. Among them is Anthony Wonke's boxing biopic "In The Shadows," starring Jasmine Jobson as Ramla Ali, the UK's first female Muslim boxing champion. Other premieres include the West End adaptation "Frank And Percy," with Ian McKellen and Roger Allam reprising their stage roles, and new animations from Travis Knight ("Wildwood") and Brad Bird ("Ray Gunn"). The festival's gala screenings will showcase major titles such as Danny Boyle's "Ink," which stars Guy Pearce as Rupert Murdoch and opens the Venice Film Festival, and Tony Gilroy's "Behemoth!," a film about a composer starring Pedro Pascal.
