49ers owner Jed York pleads no contest to Ohio misdemeanors

San Francisco 49ers principal owner and CEO Jed York was arrested Sunday in East Palestine, Ohio, and pleaded no contest on Monday to misdemeanor charges stemming from the incident. According to court records, York, 46, was taken into custody by the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office on the morning of August 23, 2026. He was booked on one count of disorderly conduct and one count of possessing criminal tools. York was released later that Sunday after posting a bond. He appeared in Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday, August 24, where he entered a no-contest plea to both charges.
