2,000 hacked WordPress sites turned into criminal infrastructure

A global cybercrime operation dubbed StopAndProtect has been uncovered, using nearly 2,000 hacked WordPress websites as its entire infrastructure to distribute malware, steal data, and deploy ransomware.
